Technisch Buro Kortlever B.V. is a dynamic family company which has developed over past decades into one of the leading machine producers for the food industry. With the capable delivery programme and know-how they have become a trusted partner for many leading food companies

Kortlever has an open organisation structure, which makes a quick link to the right Kortlever specialist possible. To optimise consultation with you they constantly provide sketches or layouts. Once an order has been taken they choose a project orientated approach, in which a project team takes care of the completion of your order within the agreed time. With you, their customer, they can agree the desired final result without wasting time. During all stages of the project - including the final installation, the lines of communication with you as their customer are wide open. In addition, their service and sales teams are ready to serve you. With their 24/7 service they are able to respond quickly and decisively

"Their company name, "Rheon", is derived from the word "Rheology". In the several thousand year history of mankind, man has been creating his own culture in the palm of his hand through the shaping and forming of his food. This has not only produced a convenient shape to facilitate eating, but has also resulted in the food tasting better, a large step forward towards civilization. Rheology is the study of the flow and deformation of matter, and Rheon were the first to take and apply it to foods. This resulted in the applied science of rheological engineering, in which the food is shaped by means of skillfully manipulating its "viscosity" and "elasticity", to derive a delicate and natural flavour while locking in taste and aroma. Rheon, through the development of technology, based upon this unique concept, successfully automated production of traditional foods from throughout the world and has since grown to the stature of an internationally-known food machinery enterprise"

Rheon manufacture the majority of their machinery in Japan, their European base is in Dusseldorf, Germany. Here there are sales and service staff on hand for your enquiry and a large stock of spare parts for all machinery. There is also a fully fitted test bakery with a variety of their machinery with which to perform demonstrations or trials for a new or existing product you would like to develop. Rheon's global set-up is truly unique in OEMs and it may be why they are able to produce such reliabilty from their machinery and are able to have such great understanding for products. Rheon also have manufacturing test facilities in the USA, so before a new development is released onto the market it is tried and tested under production conditions in this faciltiy. Rheon even have their own retail out to find out what the consumer thinks to the product made on their equipment, this is the 'Rheon Cafe' in New York City
