San Francisco - (dpa)

Intends empire computer software giant American Microsoft's launch version of modern operating system mobile phones "Windows Phone 7" on 11 October in wake of fierce competition from other operating systems, and in particular "iPhone" produced by Apple and "Android" produced by Google.

The company said it intends to organize a concert in New York to launch the new system is expected to present the company's handsets, "Samsung" and "LG" and "HP.. C" running the new operating system. It was not clear after the date of launch mobile phones equipped with the new operating system to customers, although analysts believe that the phones can be put in the markets of Europe in October now and in the United States the following month.

The announcement of the new system after only two days of a Microsoft lawsuit against Motorola for the production of mobile phones running Android claiming a violation of intellectual property rights, a move that underscored the fierce competition between Microsoft and Google and Apple in the market for mobile operating systems.

Analysts say not to update the Windows operating system iPhone during the last period to make the status of Microsoft in this market decline to the point that prompted the investment bank Goldman Sachs to issue a recommendation to investors in the stock market not to invest in the shares of the company due to their limited presence in this growing market.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, said Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft said the company "came out of one of the" mobile phone but the "iPhone Windows 7" will be able to recover their share of this market.

And differs from the "Windows Phone 7" for "iPhone" and "Android" in that it focused mobile phone functions on specific topics rather than just view the lists of applications to the user.
